Who do you think will win it this year? I have a couple people in mind:

Brent Metcalf
Franklin Gomez
Jordan Burroughs

If Franklin and Burroughs can go undefeated this would be tough pick just because of how they both dominate

Neither Gomez or Burroughs pin enough people.

The front runners in my mind right now are Metcalf, Varner, and Ness. Probably in that order.

Interesting, interesting. I love Gomez, but I don't think he's necessarily a front runner for this award. I agree with Jensen's list.

Burroughs, Schlatter, Metcalf, Varner

I think that you can count out Varner..... He will lose at least once to Brester. Ya, I know that Metcalf won it with a loss, but Burroughs will probably go undefeated as will Metcalf. Schlatter has a tougher road to hoe and doesn't pin anyone. Gomez and Ness will eliminate each other from consideration. JMO

I love Varner but he is not dominating in the fact of pins or techs I looked gomez season last year I figured he would be a good looker

Varner puts up more bonus than Gomez does. He won 20/31 matches by bonus last year, Gomez won 12/27.

I think that the award is between Metcalf and Burroughs. If guys can wrestle Metcalf the way that LeValle (I'm not sure of the guys exact name but there was a video of the match posted earlier) did then the award will go to Burroughs.

Not sure why Ness isn't in this conversation. Granted, he will need to most likely have zero losses or 1 but he puts up bonus with the best of them.
