Only because he's got a defending champ in front of him.......He pins more than anyone wrestling this year........15, 20(Tied Minny record), 19 and 4 of 4 this year.

Metcalf actually outpinned him last year, but as long as Ness keeps going, he's definitely a contender.

If Jay Borschel stays healthy and keeps winning by bonus, I could see him as someone worth mentioning. He is hungry. I know he is not ever included in the same sentence as Varner, Burroughs, Metcalf, Ness, etc. but he has that potential.
