I believe Krom will be fine. Last year McCoy seemed to design their schedule (competitions and training) to have them peaking at the end of the season and it turned out pretty well.

Krom probably got thrown for a 5 point move then tried to force things that weren't there in a comeback effort -which I applaud as most guys just roll over and die after giving up a couple of big moves .
Krom came back and beat Seth 5-4 so he's ok.

Hashimoto is probably the best Judo practitioner in college wrestling in the 10+ years I've been watching. Well maybe Yoshi Nakamura in terms of translating it to folk, but I think on the senior level Hashimoto is the top 2-3 at weight in Judo. That spells a lot of bad matchups for opponents who like to tie up.

Krom should be fine, Dake is a stud and hit him with a big throw and I'm sure Hashimoto did the same given his pedigree. Just an area he has to work on or avoid altogether.

He threw (pun intended) Krom out of his element. I feel it was just a bad match up on Krom's side.
