To all those making season ending predictions after tonight's dual........Um, yeah, it's December. Lot's of time. The Gophers will be there in the end.

Agreed. The Gophers will have several national qualifiers and will be there to witness the hawks win their 3rd straight.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

I think the difference will be

    1) Oliver over Ness in OT (my upset pick of the week & there will be upsets in this dual)
    2) If Gelogaev gets the fall in the only match that features ranked vs unranked
    3) Near fall points, (i.e. bonus points as grapplefan said)

I take OSU by less then 3
I didn't get the spread right but I called the win & the upsets, (Schlatter/Thorn though my upset didn't come thru Oliver wrestled better then just about any MN fan thought.)

Erisman got a couple NF pts but that didn't make a difference in the outcome.

Foster got 6 NF pts & gave him the Major.

I was surprised that Gelogaev didn't get get any NF pts nor bonus points.

Without the bonus points & upsets it would have been 14 all. So I would have to agree with kdiddy the gophers will will much improved come March but right now Iowa & Ohio State will cruise over them.

I may have to retire from following wrestling after Schlatter lost... very disappointing.

    lol

I'm astonished by the Schlatter loss. This was supposed to be his new powerful weight class.
The Yohns aren't conquering the world either. What gives with the Gophs?
Decent efforts by Sanders and Ness, though. Berhow improving.

I was probably more disapointed in the Yohn loss then the Schaltter one. I dont think it can ever be TOO much of a surprise when Dustin loses a match at these days..

Whereas I definitely expected Yohn to be at least competitive with Foster, if not outright win the match. But he got straight up hussled, it wasn't even close
    Gold is an idiot.
