    Sonny Yohn v. Clayton Foster

1st Period: Both guys coming out moving their feet really nicely...little footsweep attempt by Sonny but Foster keeps his balance. Foster in on a double, then slips down to just a single, lifts it for a second...Sonny clamping hard with a whizzer, Foster steps over the leg and secures the second ankle, and after a tough fight picks up the TD...2-0 Foster. Yohn stands up, Foster sticks boots in and its stalemated. Yohn up to his feet again, Foster trips him back down to the mat. And Foster rides it out to lead 2-0

2nd Period: Foster starts down...stands up very quickly, Yohn trying to trip him back down but Foster switches back into him and scores the reversal...4-0 Foster. Yohn up and out for the escape...4-1 Foster and then Foster back in on a shot on the edge and its called PD...1:00 RT for Foster...bad shot from the outside by Yohn and Foster buries the head and works his way around for the easy TD...6-1 Foster. Foster trying for a cheap tilt over but Yohn defends, comes back with a tilt attempt to the other side and Yohn defends that as well. Foster back to working with the boots now. Foster rides it out to lead 6-1 going into the 3rd.

3rd Period: Yohn starts down...tries to gramby out and a very slow attempt it was...Foster out to the side and just riding tough, Yohn with an attempt at a gramby and then tries to rubber knee around but they go out...Foster has riding time that can no be erased. Foster with a turn and he's getting backs...3 NF...9-1 Foster, and now Foster comes with a tilt and gets 3 more...12-1 Foster. Adds riding time.

Clayton Foster maj Sonny Yohn 13-1

Well, pure speculation, but they're in Stillwater. Probably watched a John Smith highlight reel and figured "Why not me?"

J Rob bette RS deitchler, this team isnt making a trophy run IMO.

    Brent Eidenschink v. Alan Gelogaev

1st Period: Gelogaev with a quick TD to start the match off, didn't see the technique as I looked away for a second...2-0 Gelogaev. Eidenschink rocking the Roger Kish/Esco shoulder harness...Gelogaev with a little roll through trying to tilt...cuts away to lead 2-1. Gelogaev goes in with underhooks, and does the Kendall Cross/Randy Lewis leg lace throw but doesn't stay keep a hold on Eidenschink...Gelogaev in again this time with a pretty easy TD. 4-1 Gelogaev as the period ends.

2nd Period: Gelogaev takes neutral much to Smith's chagrin...Eidenshink reaches at a leg, Gelogaev comes back with a little arm drag and then steps over the leg to pick up the TD...6-1 Gelogaev. Injury time for Eidenshink...and Gelogaev cuts off a restart...6-2 Gelogaev, Eidenschink in on a shot and Gelogaev with an easy counter TD...8-2 Gelogaev. Gelogaev hit for locked hands...8-3 Gelogaev and the period ends.

3rd Period: Eidenschink takes top...and immediately goes in with a boot and Gelogaev stands up and stalemates it. Gelogaev explodes up off the restart and turns in but they go out of bounds from an upper body position...Eidenschink again trying to snake the right leg in as Gelogaev stands up, and he's out 9-3 Gelogaev...Eidenschink shucks in onto a leg, and drags the feet for the big toe TD...9-5 Gelogaev. Gelogaev stands up and out quickly...10-5 Gelogaev. Couple shot attempts by Eidenschink, Gelogaev isn't looking urgent...counter TD for Gelogaev...12-5, and cuts to make it 12-6. Eidenschink in on a shot and comes out the back door and Gelogaev skips away at the buzzer.

Alan Gelogaev dec Brent Eidenschink 13-6

    Ben Berhow v. Jared Rosholt

1st Period: Berhow in on a low shot early on, tries to come out the back door but didn't have hold of anything and Rosholt just toppled off and squared back up not to give up the points. Both guys still handfighting...still scoreless. Half shot by each guy interspersed occasionally. Berhow in on another shot, then comes up in the front headlock position as Rosholt attempted to duck behind, Rosholt keeps moving and collects both ankles for the TD...2-0 Rosholt, period ends that score.

2nd Period: Berhow starts down...and he's up and out very quickly...2-1 Rosholt. Berhow in on a low single and collects both ankles for the TD...3-2 Berhow. Rosholt standing up and spins out to tie the match up 3-3. Rosholt in on a low single of his own on the edge, and nearly collects the ankle but Berhow rubber knees and kicks away...period ends tied 3-3.

3rd Period: Rosholt starts down. Stands and then basically runs away for the escape...4-3 Rosholt. Berhow in on a single on the edge but they go out. Berhow in on a low single that Rosholt steps out of, then back in on another one, Rosholt keeps moving and winds up in on Berhow's legs and picks up a little insurance TD as he doesn't let Berhow rubber knee around...6-3 Rosholt. Berhow stands up after a restart, and out then dives back in but they go out...6-4 Rosholt. Another shot from way out by Berhow and Rosholt blocks off, Berhow slips around behind off another attempt and gets the TD to tie the match inside of 5 seconds. 6-6 going to OT.

OT: Rosholt shoots in on a double from a little far out...Berhow with a single from a long way away, Rosholt locks up a cradle then drives Berhow to his butt for the TD.

Jared Rosholt dec Ben Berhow 8-6
