Jake Shields is fighting on CBS, Sat. Nov.7th for Strikeforce Middleweight Championship. Jake is asking wrestling fans and MMA fighters with a wrestling backgrounds to donate to the Cal State Fullerton Wrestling programe, they need to raise 0,000 by next year.

Cal State Fullerton will host the all star match latter this month, good time to send a check.

Thanks fanforlife I was called away and I just came back to finish up. Jake will use this fight to help get the news out. We will have a site for MMA fighters to donate memorabilia, may have an auction by the All Star Match, but a bigger one a couple months latter.

Either way that is great. I know there are some other MMA fighters out in that area who are former wrestlers and even alumni of Fullerton, this is their time to step up.

Good for Jake and hopefully everyone out there in the area will also help support the program by attending the match.

Many of the top MMA fighters have a wrestling base as Jake Shields pointed out in a recent interview, mentioned Fullerton and the need to support wrestling programs in general.
