For National Wrestling Hall of Fame Museum new chairman Terry Shockley and many other topics visit

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum has a new Chairman of the Board; Terry Shockley. Shockley was one of the greatest wrestlers in Augustana history and was appointed this position by the Board of Governors at it’s October meeting in Kansas City. Shockley has been the secretary of the organization since 2008 and he will be succeeding long time chairman Jim Keen Sr.
“At the National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum and the Dan Gable Museum we have a unique opportunity to inspire future generations of wrestlers and fans, while preserving and recognizing the historical accomplishments of the sport,” Shockley said. “I’m honored to serve this great American institution.”
Shockley was a member of the Augustana College Board of Trustees from 1998 to 2006. He was inducted into the Augustana “Tribe of Vikings” Hall of Fame in 1982 and the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 1999.
