GHSA Traditional Wrestling State Tournament

When: February 14-16, 2013

Where: Macon Centreplex

What: Individual State Tournament

The Georgia High School Wrestling State Tournament hits the mat this Thursday in Macon, Georgia. All 6 Georgia Wrestling Classes will be present at the Macon Centreplex, and over 1300 high school wrestlers will be competing for a state championship. “The tournament brings together the best teams in all classifications and we look forward to another three days of quality competition in Macon,” says Denis Tallini, Associate Director of the GHSA.

Thursday, Feb. 14

• 5:30-9:00: Round of 16 (AAAA-AAAAAA)

Friday, Feb. 15

• 9:00-11:00: Quarterfinals (AAA-AAAAAA)
• 11:00-1:00: WB’s 1st Round (AAAA-AAAAAA)
• 1:00-3:00: Quarterfinals (A-AAA)
• 3:00-5:00: WB’s 2nd Round (AAAA-AAAAAA)
• 5:00-7:00: Consolation Quarters – All Classes
• 7:00-9:00: Semifinals – All Classes

Saturday, Feb. 16

• 9:30-11:00: Consolation Semi’s – All Classes
• 11:12:30: Consolation Finals – All Classes
• 2:30-6:00: Championship Finals – All Classes
