2013 Escape The Rock Wrestling Tournament

When: January 19 & 20, 2013

• Saturday & Sunday

Where: Holland, PA

• Council Rock South High School

What: Individual Tournament

The 8th Annual Escape the Rock Wrestling Tournament, which will be its 7th as an individual event, will again bring together 32 teams on Saturday & Sunday, Jan. 19 & 20 at Council Rock South High School in Holland, Pa.

Some top teams and individuals from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Virginia will be looking to take top honors. Last year’s Escape the Rock Tournament proved to be the best to date. The competition was absolutely stellar and included twelve 2012 State Champions, plus two other former state champs that did not repeat. There were 69 state place winners, 124 state qualifiers and 3 National Prep Tournament place winners!

Saturday, Jan. 19th

• 11:00 am – Championship Pigtails (8 mats)
• 2:00 pm – Consolation Round 1 (8 mats)
• 3:30 pm – Championship Prelims (8 mats)
• 5:30 pm -*Consolation Round 2 (8 mats)
• 7:30 pm -*Quarterfinals (8 mats)

Sunday, Jan. 20th

• 8:00 am – Consolation Round 3 (5 mats)
• 9:30 am – Consolation Round 4 (5 mats)
• 11:15 am – Semifinals & Consi Round 5 (5 mats)
• 1:15 pm – 7th*place bouts & Consi Rd 6 (5 mats)
• 4:00 pm – 5th*Place Bouts (2 mats)
• 5:15 pm – Parade of Champions & Finals (2 mats)
