Two-time Minnesota high school wrestling champion Mark Hall II will return to Apple Valley within three weeks, his father told the Pioneer Press on Thursday, Sept. 6.
Hall II, who won state titles for Apple Valley while in seventh and eighth grades, is enrolled for the first weeks of his freshman year in Davison, Mich, according to his father. Hall II had contemplated staying in Michigan, in part, to be closer to his mother.
Hall II could become the first Minnesota wrestler to win six individual titles. Hall II, according to his father, intends to finish his prep career at Apple Valley, a national wrestling power.


“That’s the plan,” his father said.
