It took the entire high school season to get our friends at Intermat and D1CollegeWrestling to agree with us but now, they finally do ? at least on the Nation?s top senior. Back in August we picked Penn State recruit Morgan McIntosh as the No. 1 recruit in all of the land ? a choice made by no other rankings organizations at the time and one we firmly believed in.

McIntosh went on to prove us right by having a significantly more impressive 2010-2011 campaign than Wisconsin-bound Destin McCauley, our preseason No. 2, and out performed other elite wrestlers including New Jersey?s Andrew Campolattano and future Penn Stater Nico Megaludis.

McIntosh cemented his spot as the No. 1 recruit at the Dapper Dan where he pinned his opponent in just over a minute while No. 2 McCauley was upset by Pennsylvania?s Mike Ottinger. Megaludis made a case to move up in our season ending rankings with a decisive victory over Michigan?s Connor Youtsey to remain undefeated on the season.

Still undecided on a college after deciding not to play football for Rutgers, Andrew Campolattano will likely be our top undecided recruit when rankings are released next week. Campolattano injury defaulted at the Dapper Dan but was being pushed very hard by Pennsylvania?s Garth Lakitsky at the time of the injury.

The University of Wisconsin?s top instate recruit, Jesse Thielke, locked himself in at No. 1 in the 130 pound weight class after a dominant 8-3 decision over our No. 2 wrestler, Pennsylvania?s Zach Horan.
