My best 11 warriors for conference time wound up with 121 pts and 5 champs. One major choke with #1 Caramanica earning 3pts and placing 4th(who had a very good year otherwise, surprised he is not a WC and one managerial choke by NOT using Galik, who won the big 12 (although he only cost me 11 pts). Anceragvage being upset by AA Stolopinski in the EIWA not such a big suprise nor Lewens taking out Shanaman. Perhaps I will be king of the hard luck tourney, the Cream of the Crap!:

Also I vote that for next year we add a +5 bonus for Confrence wrestler of the year and OW of the tournament, so grips would actually have beaten me 177 to 173

I am taking all 12 of my active wrestlers into the 3rd place match with Wiltz. The three that didn't qualify, Caputo, Flanagan and Rader were all on the IR.

I had a weak weekend and most likely next year won't pick a Big XII wrestler to represent my squad as a Conference Champion brought me only 11 points and they do not appear to wrestle too many matches per year.

Live and learn, I only picked 3 b10 wrestlers in my squad and phil davis was the only one to not score more then 100 points for me with only 93. All 3 were b10 champs and earned me over 20 points at confrences.

Its all about picking the right wrestlers, b12 are probably most valuable come ncaas. Look at josh glenn for trusty, hes scored like 10 points during the regular season but should be good for major points come ncaas. Trust made a good gamble in taking him reasoning that his lack of regular season points would be made up for in the post season (or maybe he just got lucky :P).

I drafted mostly for regular season and confrences and unfortunately fell a little bit short in the regular season, but I think my strategy worked well other then some injury setbacks.

Basically abstain from b12 guys all you want Ill take a jake varner any day even though he wins every match by 1 point
