Fantasy League Discussion: 12/28-1/3
While we aren't holding any official competition for the league this week, figure I might as well kick this thread off. Midlands and the Scuffle are going to be huge for teams hoping to make gains.

Re: Fantasy League Discussion: 12/28-1/3
agreed...this is where people need to make their moves...i think i have 9 guys going at one of these tournaments with two others have some four match duals on 1/4...we'll see...i can tell you that I will be a little disappointed if my guys place well or even win and consolation guys roll up the points on me...i suppose that can work in anyone's favor though...

8 guys at either the scuffle or midlands and matches in 9 weight classes but I think that’s going to be pretty much standard for a lot of people… Its really all about seeing how people do I am kind of bummed however as NONE of the top 4 guys on my team will be competing at these events… Rader and Davis both have nothing and pucillo and tannenbaum will have four dual matches between them, which isnt terrible but still isnt as good as if they were going to the tourney. It was a hard choice to sit preston out after he is FINALLY (I hope) coming off the bench at Harvard to score points for me, but Im still not 100% sure hes competing yet and even if he does I don’t know what level he will be at. I think Washington is a safer bet for some points here. I think I’ll place at least middle of the pack here and keep myself in contention for a top four spot, also next week is looking pretty big from what I’ve seen so far. I think conference competition is going to be good for me.
Grips I wish you guys would post the matches you have its really not that hard
EDIT: 66 points through day 1 with all 7 guys still alive and 6 in the championship. Tannenbaum is also going to pick up 3 matches for me tomorrow

Re: Fantasy League Discussion: 12/28-1/3
i think a bunch of people are going to feel the pain...the four teams ahead of me are SOLID so i have to hope my guys like ness, ervin, oliver, marable/flanagan, gavin, caputo/weitzel, michalek and bergman wrestle to their current seeds in most tournaments and do well in their conferences...
i do think the flex guys and back-ups are going to be the differnce makers though

Man, have 3 weight classes with both guys going to either SS or Midlands! SS 174 has two of my guys as seeds (Anceravage#3 & Moricone #6). I went with 141 as the flex, with Caramanica as SS#3 and Gallick unseeded @ Midlands, but just beating the #1 seed last week. I think he has a better chance of placing in consolations, which as we all know, is ideal point getter.
Any of you guys have any thoughts on this kind of choice? My other one was HWT with Spaid (#3 SS) or Wise.
