I just woke up and need to go get food and shower but I will see if I have an offer for you by tonight (assuming he is not hurt and will still be wrestling this year)

I will claim Tyler Oravec WVU, 141 for my lineup Jensens as rader has apparently been injured... He picked up a major dec vs sacred heart today.

Thats fine, but you don't get Oravec's points for today.

Lots of people seem to think this, and its probably my fault for not explaining this rule better. If you have a guy get injured in the middle of a scoring period, you can go ahead and pick up the guy who is going to be replacing him. However, you're going to have to wait until the next scoring period to insert the guy into your line up.

I can't have people switching guys in and out of their line up in the middle of the week. It'd get kind of chaotic.

ugh... well what if I have no idea when rader is going to be ready to wrestle? Lets say I put in Oravec for next week and it turns out rader is ready to go are you saying I wont get any points for that weight?

Thats what I'm saying, I told Avallone the same thing when he was debating about Scott. You gotta take some risks sometimes. For you, this might be one of those times.

That seems kind of unfair to punish people for the lack of public information about teams a lot of times. Im sure rader didnt trip and fall heading out to the mat he was probably hurt before this weekend but I had no knowledge of it because it was not mentioned/posted anywhere and I have no inside ties to the program.

I guess I'll defer to you as commish but I think once we have picked the backup into our lineup we should be able to score for either of them. (i.e. I wont get the points for today but next week I'd be able to score points with either) otherwise its really not all that helpful to be able to pick up a backup, unless your wrestler is out for the entire season.
