We're either doing all the duals that have already happened, or none of them. As of right now I'm leaning towards none of them. We're not going to acquiese to what you want just because one of your guys got a big win.

In terms of the scoring periods, that something I'm still debating upon.

Mojo, Lost, you guys can go ahead and make picks. Avallone said we could skip him.

None of my guys got a big win and I would get like 15 points from weitzel because I have an oklahoma guy, Im not trying to "Taylor" the rules to fit me I just think that D3 competition shouldnt give us points.

Its like all those preaseason tournaments we arent counting, why arent we counting them? The level of competition isnt very good and so teams with a lot of preseason tournament are likely to rack up some major points if they send respectable wrestlers.

As for the scoring periods I specifically asked you and was told friday to friday I still have it on my phone I think, I looked up schedules on all of my reserve picks to make sure their schedules meshed somewhat with my projected starters based on what you told me so I could get the most points possible, its not fair of you to change the rules like that when we were drafting under a different assumption.

So you throw a hissy fit over the fact that I might change the rules over the exact date of the scoring period, which I don't believe I had ever really settled on, I just said that the roster deadlines would take place on Fridays. And the key word in that sentence is might, I haven't even done it yet, its just something I mentioned.

Then after that you want me to change the rules that I've had down from the beginning that all dual meets count. This has been the case since I started the thread asking for sign ups, and you had ample opportunity to structure your draft to maximize your points.

You need to calm down, and stop trying to tell me what to do. Like I said, we aren't going to acquiese to just what you want to do. There may be some rules in the final draft that you don't like. Thats something you're just going to have to deal with. Thats part of the reason why I made the money optional.

OOOOPS. Much as I like Rollie, can I change that last pick to Jordan Burroughs, Nebraska. I just found out that my 149 lber Leen isn't a 149 lber. If too late, no big, but if so Thanks.

In case you guys missed what I said on the last page, Lost, Mojo you guys can go ahead and make your picks. Avallone gave us permission to skip him.

You need to stop being a bitch and get off your high horse bro, I'm not throwing a hissy fit or "asking" you to change anything I'm offering MY opinion on what makes sense to ME. This is a forum meant for discussion and this is a league in which all of us have a say in especially if we're paying money.

To me winning over D3 wrestlers shouldn't give you points for the same reason open tournaments shouldn't; lack of competition. Thats just my personal opinion and you know what you're right you did post all dual meets would count, so if we count these thats probably a fair interpretation of the rules, maybe its something that can be changed next year. If we didnt count them maybe it wouldnt be fair to people who saw those dual meets and drafted based on them, feel free to chyme in people I welcome others opinions. If these meets get counted it'll help my team too because weitzel picked up three wins the other day, it probably wont help it as much as someone with a lot of badgers but i'll still get points.

I'm not trying to change the rules to fit me, what I am saying is that under the rules you posted its not fair to not give me or the people who drafted Taylor or gillspie points for dual meets against 3 other D1 teams. My 174 pounder just beat a top 20 guy in a regularly scheduled dual and now you're telling me he might not get points for it because you had trouble organizing the draft and thats just bogus.

As for the scoring period I'll quote you straight from your rules post
" 2. You'll start 11 guys every week, 1 guy each 125-285, then one flex guy from whatever weight you want. Teams will be comprised of fifteen wrestlers, so you'll have four guys on your bench to insert as necessary"

I have it in your own words that we start our team every work and I have a text from you saying the rosters would be due by friday probably in the early afternoon and thats what I based my picks off of. And its not just about my team, it makes a lot more sense to go in periods of one week because that makes your backup guys much more important to your team. Im pretty sure that overall Mike Pucillo is going to score more points and place higher then Josh Weitzel but Ohio States have some weeks where not as much is going on compared to Oklahoma which is why I have weitzel as my backup.

I dont pretend to speak for the other members of this forum, as the organizer you posted the rules so we knew what we were signing up for and I'm not trying to change those rules. However stuff has come up which isnt covered by the rules and since all of us have already committed to this we all deserve a say in how that stuff is figured out. If someone can give me a valid reason for why we should go in two week shifts instead of one then maybe we can discuss it as a group, but for to unilaterally say you're considering changing the scoring rules after you've posted otherwise is bullshit, dont get mad at me just because Im calling you on it.

The bottom line is this isnt your draft bro, its OUR draft, and we have just as much of a say in it as you do, and you need to recognize that..

Ok. First of all......i don't wanna see any "scored" competitions until the draft is complete. Last week's results do NOT count.

Sorry, LoSt...but think about the implications. You could be drafting for guys that did well last week.......after seeing the results. Can't do it.

This draft is not an easy thing to pull off. Don't jump down someone's throat demanding points when the delay in the draft was something caused by everyone.....including you buddy.

Lost...i feel your pain...but its a long season. When i get skipped over 4 times in the draft.....i didn't cry about it. It'll all be ok.
