The thought honestly never crossed my mind that "hey you actually have Simonson maybe you should pick up Gibson to make sure you don't lose your only heavyweight" is too late to use that supplemental pick I passed on the first time around? haha

I seriously doubt anyone would have picked up Gibson had Z not been injured . Still, you should have CYA instead of throwing away a supp pick.

Sorry guys for being MIA for the draft. We had districts over the weekend which despite finishing one spot shy of a team trophy (for the fourth straight year) we sent a record 4 to state and had two district champs. One of our guys that qualified was the number 2 seed and lost his first match because he was looking past it to the semis. He had to come back and win 4 in a row (including avenging his earlier loss) with the last being for "true second". Not a terrible weekend from the outside looking in but we should have had 5 go to state with 3-4 district champs. So we've got room to improve for next year. Then Monday we had a "crisis" situation at work most of the day and just getting out of the community side and into our office was difficult enough let alone inside long enough to get onto a computer.

Thanks to Russ and Shane for the help. I'm happy with both the pick and the drop.

I kind of saw that opportunity when Z went down then when you went Dardanes I let myself think for a moment Gibson might be there. I think that might knock you out of playoffs as you might lose 15 right there. Ouch. Every point counts for Wild Card week.

Well it's my first year and everyone has to make their big rookie mistake at some point
