Keeper rules for next year

Need to know what we're thinking about keeper rules for next year. Can we keep the same guy for another year?

I ask because I'm on the fence with shopping Metcalf right now. I will do it if I can't keep him next year. If I can, it will take some more consideration.

Interesting situation.. What's he worth on the trade block? I'd be scared to take anything less than 2 other 1xers and an AA at the more injury prone champ's weight..

I'm considering Caldwell & Dudziak.

I'm open to other offers as well. HWT needs to be part of the deal.

You're kinda right. I wanted Caldwell, GG and Dudziak for Metcalf and Winston. I personally think thats fair being that he's the only sure champ out there.

Can't keep the same guy for two years in a row.

I'm also feeling that a guy can't be kept for two years in a row. So your attempt at a possible trade with Lost would be fine if you want to make it but then you wouldn't be able to keep Caldwell.

Anyone that got kept for this season goes back into the pot next year.

THanks for clarifying, I knew that we couldnt keep the same guy but I wasnt sure if we'd be able to keep someone we got off a trade

I will miss Ness...I don't think I have any keepers that are worth missing the first round picks over.

He brought me 72 wins, 39 by fall in two seasons. He was by far my best scorer.

Obviously I would have kept Metcalf if we were allowed to, but I think its likely that I will start fresh next year unless someone like hoch has a dynamite tourney.
