Thread: Trade

  1. #1

    Default Trade

LoSt trades Brandon Pataky, Tony Mustari, and Brandon Halsey to Gofer in exchange for Brandon Precin.

I'm waiting for a ruling on Jensens on the number of men we can have on a roster, if necessary I will take Radars backup and Hernandez to make it 3 for 3, but I prefer not to have them stinking up my team.

the REAL trade is Pataky, Mustari and Halsey for Radar, Hernandez and Precin...i don't want them either and I know you want 1:1 trades to keep rosters at 15...

Let me start by sayin its not sour grapes and LoSt really put in the leg work to get his team the way it is. He made great drafts and scouted other teams to propose a trade that would make both teams stronger. Kudos.

As for the rest of you...wtf? You guys do realize we're playing against LoSt don't you? I'm just saying that LoSt has approached me with a trades a couple of times and I didn't just look at what it did for my team.....but how much better his team would be because of it. We've created a monster. I just hope we reflect on this. Major Leaguer's try to avoid making trades for top tier guys in their own division....why?....because they have to go against that guy if they do!

I'm not talking about any particular trade either....too many went through the shoot and LoSt is going to be nearly impossible to beat at the tourney. An ideal compromise is when both teams are equally unhappy.

    Props to you LoSt.

LOL...I would have to say it was the "fight for second place" syndrome that most likely affected my late trades though in hindsight you can't argue my logic. I let go of Askren who will probably finish third in the conference to get a 157 that will most likely win his conference. Then I traded Precin who is absolutely no lock for a conference championship at 125 for a conference finalist at 197 in Halsey and a conference finalist in Mustari and then an AA contender in Pataky at 125.

I see your point though Grips. In real sports, we would be looking towards 2010 but no one really has to do that in this league so there are no consequences.

Almost all of the trades make sense for the parties involved. If they don't, they don't happen. I'm just saying you have to keep an eye on the competition.....not feed them roids.

I have Halsey but he is no ''lock'' for the championship as he has lost to Chriswell 5-3 in their earlier meeting -I also have Hall and he beat Pami 8-6 in ot last match . I traded for these guys also but I got Metcalf and Hall and Halsey plus Brenner -who bites -but has majored everyone in his conference save one that he beat 10-5 .
