    Default Where we stand....

Gonna be a barn burner to see who gets into the tourney.

At the end of this week, there will be about a 25 point gap seperating 3rd and 6th place. Crazy. Could be around 15 points seperating 4th & 6th.

I think Wiltz and Jensen may be just far enough out, that they'll be focused on wild cards.

I would rank conference potential for those fighting for 3rd and 4th as follows....

    1. Grips
    2. ISU
    3. Gofer
    4. Trusty

Ok...so I have grips colored glasses, but its not far off. Trusty very easily could blow me out of the water.

As far as wild cards go, Jensen is very much in the hunt. Mojo looks good and so does Stiffy actually. Crazy to see him get in there.

Once we get to the NCAA tourney....its a clean slate. I think Dart's team struggles in the big tourney. His team was built was for the regular season. LoSt may have one of the most epic line ups around....we can only hope to watch his guys finish below their seeds.
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

Also, just re-checked the rules. 16 bonus for a conference champ. 12 for a runner up.

Yeah I think a lot of people didnt realize that this year, there is only a 7 point difference between a conference champ and a 2nd placer. That is especially helpful for guys with b10 or b12 heavy lineups like Jensens where there are often not clear favorites to win the conference.

You heard it heard first guys, my lineup is epic!

The wildcard system really makes things a lot more interesting, I have no idea who is going to make it to the big show. I'm glad I didnt take that bet on Jensens not making it because while I still think he wont he does have a very decent shot, especially now that Baker is back.

It will be interesting to see some of the scores that show up in the following week. I set the fantasy record this year with like 230 something over midlands, but I think a lot of people will be looking at numbers close to or higher then that.

Personally I expect my team to absolutely shatter that mark since I have realistic potential for all 11 of my starters to become conference champs (10 of them are likely #1 seeds). That would be 176 just in placement points alone!

I am very confident on winning the whole thing but I do think its going to be a pretty intense battle for 2nd-4th, which I believe all get a share of the money this year. I agree with Grips that Darts team is much more geared towards the regular season then NCAAs.

Personally I think that if Jensens makes it to the big show he will finish 2nd as his lineup is almost as stacked as mine.

I think epic was referring to the meltdown to come, plus how many guys are on your team from the original draft, 3? You are the New York Yankees of Fantasy. LOL.

Yes, I think I am fizzling down the stretch run. Would take some big finishes I think to stay ahead of TLV and ISU etc. Champs will help and bonus points will help but I think everyone is going to have plenty of those.

Guys I originally drafted that are still on my team:

    133: Hochstrasser
    149: Caldwell
    157: Gillespie
    165: Fay
    174: Miller
    184: Patterson
    197: Todd

Guys I got in the supplimental:
    197: Halsey
    HVY: Dudziak

Thats 8 of my starting 10

Trades have certainly helped my team but I would say that there have really only been two that had a DRAMATIC impact.

You have 9 out of 18 technically.

7 out of original 15 and 9 out of 18 with supplemental.

For conferences, 8 of my 10 starters have been drafted by me.

Where you really did well was in absolutely murdering the Supplemental.
