So i have a hole at HWT.

I also have Zac Bennett from UNC (a 197...but for this example...weight is irrelevant).

He is inelligible first semester and most likely will not be wrestling. If I start him at HWT.....and the undrafted UNC HWT wrestles (Jake Barnhart).....do I get his points?

It would be like starting Bennett as a HWT but getting his back ups points....

I don't think you should be able to deliberately start a guy at a weight you know he isn't wrestling. If you want to start him at 197 and take backup points thats fine

It is....but it's legit and within the rules. Also, you won't exactly be putting an all star in the line up if the person is undrafted. 3 stars have to align for this to work.

1. Your wrestler can't wrestle that week
2. you have to have a hole where another guy on his team is wrestling
3. That guy also has to be undrafted

I don't see how it's legit. He's not a HWT, he's a 197 lber. Using me as an example, I'm currently without a 149. Under your attempt at a loophole, I could wrestle Kyle Blevins at 149, even though he's a 165, and get App State's 149 points. Not kosher in my book, but it's not my league.
