Yes, I've made the money optional.

If you pay, and win the league then you get however much money is in the pot. If someone who doesn't pay wins the league, then I'll refund they money at the end of the season to everyone who did pay.

The paypal account is set up under wrestlingtalk@yahoo.com

In terms of your questions on the playoffs I'm pretty sure I did answer them on the last page. I'll do my best in this post again.

If you don't finish top two in your division at the end of the regular season then you can't win the league, however I will tally up your points with the bonuses that I spoke of so we can have a correct final standings 1-14.

For the four teams that make the playoffs, I'll reseed them according to their total points, divisions won't matter, and the slate will basically be wiped clean.

The semis will be #1 seed v. #4 seed and then #2 seed v. #3 seed, which ever teams score the most in each match up that week moves onto the final.

So if the #1 and #2 runaway with leads during the regular season, but then lose by 1 point each in the semi's it doesn't matter, #3 and #4 will play for the title while #1 and #2 will play for third.

so the semifinals are during the confrence tourneys and the finals are during the ncaas?

Thats a really different system you have setup.

Also, do we have to pick whos wrestling where at the beginning of the week or can we choose after all the scores have been tabulated?

If we had to pick beforehand it would involve a LOT more strategy but also a lot more time.

I vote for picking before personally especially if we are playing for money, otherwise there really isnt any management you need to do during the season.

Well, most competitions during the season are Friday-Sunday, so during the season I'll probably set the final roster deadline as like Friday at noon.

Jensens could you lay out the postseason rules a little more clearly for me because Im not sure if I understand. AFter all duals are done you take the top four and then whoever does best inconfrences moves on to the finals and then its two people who do best in the tourney?

i think you have it LOST...he just hasn't decided if he is going to run 14 teams and take the top four or have two 7 team conferences and take the top 2...i like the idea of two 7 team conferences...that way maybe jensens can admin one league and someone else can admin the other...thus cutting jensens work load in half...jensens can even have him and another run Conf. A and two other people run Conf. B.

I think we are all honorable people here exceptin maybe schlottke!

More or less, not quite sure I get whats so difficult to comprehend about what I've laid out.

Just worry about finishing top 2 in your division, or top 4 overall, you do that, and the rest will work itself out.

Finishing top 2 out of 7 is not that hard finishing top 2 out of 7 and finishing top 2 out of 4 in confrence and then beating the other guy at ncaas is extremely challenging. Theres a lot more to worry about then winning the regular season and thats what Im trying to clarify.

Is postseason going to use tournament scoring or are we just going with the same points system as during the regular season?

We're going to use pretty much the same scoring as in the regular season, 3 for a dec, 4 for a maj etc...

However you get a 5 point bonus for a Conference champion, and as many as an 8 point bonus for each AA (ie: National Champ=8 point bonus, 2nd Place=7 point bonus)

Just draft a team of good guys, if your guys are good in the regular season, you should be fine in the post season.

This may of already been answered but what if 1 of your guys gets beat out of his teams line up during the season do you get his replacement, this is non injury.
