Re: Feedback on this Season/Changes for Next
Personally, I like limiting trades. Someone posted once "dance with the girl you took to the dance." I just think too many trades make the point of a draft ridiculous in some instances. I made maybe one or two trades the last two years. The injury bug bit me hard in the season, but I think people make such uneven trade requests, expecting some of us to fold up the tent early.
Things happen like this. I do like the penalty for not posting. I was guilty of this once this season (this year's workload was nutty).
Perhaps some uniformity in weeks. When I update scores throughout the week, I typically go Monday > Sunday. There are so FEW matches on Monday. I think a logical start date is all Mondays.
Re: Feedback on this Season/Changes for Next
I like top 5 plus 1 WC and I like the idea of counting tournaments if enough ranked kids are there.
Re: Feedback on this Season/Changes for Next
I think bottom line on tournaments is count them all or don't count any. I am okay with not counting any matches that are D1 against D2, D3 opponents however. I think that is logical.
Re: Feedback on this Season/Changes for Next
I was well within a reasonable amount of trade (I think I did 2 or 3)....but I really don't think its fair to limit the trades. I mean....yes we had guys that made a billion pointless trades....but if we set the limit on 5....and someone goes injured.....a 6th trade should be allowed.
So I guess I'm saying....i was waaayyy over all the trading....but I don't think its fair to limit it.
Also, is no one gonna holler on the head to head wildcard playoff?
Re: Feedback on this Season/Changes for Next
As much as I want to bring some light to the D2 and D3 programs, I just think including it might complicate things. I KNOW it will be harder for you from a scoring standpoint.
I kind of like the drafts and the playoffs the way we do them now Grips but if people vote for your way, I'm in, change is sometimes good.
Not a fan of extending the draft to 20, I would want to cry.
I think its only fair to know ahead of time what tournaments will count and which ones won't. Waiting to see how many ranked wrestlers show up could be a P.I.T.A with the way the weather in the midwest seems to affect things.
I think we have a good thing, perhaps not much change is needed.
Re: Feedback on this Season/Changes for Next
Grips, I'm not sure I understand your idea, could you elaborate?
