...and even better, you got to attend two primo meets while the rest of us sat at home decorating Christmas trees. Good job with the blogs, LoSt!!!

You don't get back up points for tournaments. That would go for Grey, Robinson & Brandvold
To my understanding, you only get them for a backup if you actually "claim" that individual as the backup, right?
If I called the Penn kid who wrestled at 197 specifically, I'd have gotten his points for Burak (this is how I assume the rule is).
Or am I way off?
Back ups will still be eligible for tournaments. Like last year though you'll have to specifically declare the back up as your guy the points won't be automatic. The one exception for this will be conference week where you'll automatically get back up points if your guy sits out and his back up isn't on anyone else's team.
Ummm..I think you might be mistaken Grips ..You have to name your back up for the tournament , but you do get his points ..the ones from Saturday when he changed his line up after seeing the brackets should not count but i am reasonably sure you get back up points IF you name your back up..
But you still have to set your lineup long before brackets from any event are released, right?
Correct -I doubt JensenS will allow the points to Dutch but that is up to the head honcho ...
I believe I got Stanzione in time, I knew Grey was out. I do not know if I got Borlie or Robinson in in time, that is why I posted it in my line-up that I may have been late. I don't want to look like I am trying to pull a fast one
Dutch,
I, for one ,would never think you'd try and ''pull a fast one'' -some people have in the past which is why that rule exists . Congrats on a big week whether those points count or not .:)
I have no idea why I started Lofthouse this week over Schuth.
