Preseason Head to Head Team Duals
Since we don't have any matches for a couple of weeks, I thought it would be cool to revive the head to head duals from last year. Winner is highest ranked guy, strictly based on current ranking from Earls site, with Flex wrestler being highest ranked non starter. I thought I would start us off with my mighty Monsters vs. Grips no-name team. This matchup has Nothing to do with the fact that Grips picked my crew as the WORST on his thread, NOTHING at all
!
Here goes:
Mojo's Monster Brothers Grips Minnescony Bopers
Rankings Based on D1 College Wrestling Current Rankings.
125: #2. Brandon Precin-Northwestern [< ] #10 Logan Stieber, The Ohio State University
133: #10. Kelly Kubec-Oregon State [ >] #9 Rollie Peterkin, UPENN
141: #11. Jamal Parks-Oklahoma State [>] #8 Cody Cleveland, UTC (Parks Ranked @ 141, in D1CW & OK St. site has Parks at 141/149)
149: #25. Ivan Lopouchanski-UNC-G [>] #12 Mario Mason - Rutgers
157: #3. Justin Lister-Binghamton [<]- #18 Joe Booth - Drexel
165: #19. Donnie Jones-West Virginia [>] #2 Jordan Burroughs - Nebraska
174: #24.Brad Darrington-Utah Valley [>] #20 Alex Caruso - Rutgers

Re: Preseason Head to Head Team Duals
Yep, you Delaware boys do beat us, although the score is 7-4 as the rules are ranking only, not actual head to head, so Lister wins. ALSO you forgot your FLEX pick (highest ranked backup) which for you I believe is 197: #17 Michael Salopek (Virginia). He loses to my 157 #8 Kinser. Amazing how close some of the rankings are - Hwt: Rey #1-Bradley #3; 197 Yonn #5-Beyers #3; 133 Sentes #8-Kubec #10. But, close, horseshoes, handgrenades and all that. Good match.

Reason: To correct the commish's score. How embarrasing.

Nope. Make it 7-4 Dutch. You forgot your FLEX guy Brother Dutch, which in your case, I believe, is 149er #15 Nick Stabile, who goes down handily against my FLEX man 157lber #8 Kurt Kinser. That makes it a little more respectable, but you still take home the medal and the cheerleader!

Reason: Mojo can't add, sorry Brother Dutch!
