well if caldwell is for sure wrestling and has his academic situation straifghtened out It would be hard not to keep him.. He was quite possibly the top scorer in the entire league last year the only one who I can think that might have beaten him was ness.

I dont think I'd be able to get him 7th round this year like I did last year

I am looking at it this way. I would assume that Ness would be going Top Three anyway so I might as well keep the pick. As long as I don't pick bottom three at the end of the second round, I really end up better than I would have been had I thrown him back in the pot AND gotten the #1 pick. I would have snaked down to the last pick in the second round anyway and chosen last or second to last so keeping Ness for me is a no brainer. (Oh yeah, and I am also a Gopher Homer).

Still can't figure out how I didn't win last year with four of my wrestlers making the championship finals. Almost half of my team last year was in the hunt for a national title and I finish third? With the new rules this year I still wouldn't have won the regular season as there was too many really strong teams but I absolutely would have won the league.

Gopher...i don't know that this statement is true. You needed more bonus points in the depth of your line up.

you mean in the regular season or in the playoffs (conference/ncaas)?

actually you are right because at conferences (fantasy semi's)i didn't do as well and thats what knocked me out of the final...in my third place match though I think the way that we are scoring the place winners now I would have won. i would have had 48 points just from their placings not withstanding the results from my wrestlers...i have mostly forgotten my team buy you are right, i lacked depth at the other spots.

Still, I will lay odds in a fourteen team league that no one puts four of their team members in the finals again next year.
