Yeah, but Stiffy ain't trading. He can still have Craig but it ain't going to be for Patrovich. LOL. Craig isn't bad. NWCAonline rankings have him around 14 I think and other than Cannon, I think Craig has a 50/50 shot of beating Caputo to get in to the finals if it comes to that. If not, there are so many teams in EIWA that the third place guy could feasibly get around 18 points as well.

So let me get this straight David "I-don't care about wrestling and lost to someone named Boaz Beard by 7 points" Craig has a 50-50 shot against louis-Caputo a 2 time AA?
    Go Hawkeyes.

Craig's good, he's just not consistent (because he doesn't care, sadly). He beat Umbehauer last year as well.

He's extremely good. So were Garrett Scott and Cody Gardner. Theres a massive mental aspect and I think pedigree only gets you so far.
    Go Hawkeyes.

Exactly my point. In a dual, he's got a decent shot agianst most guys just on talent, especially since he's not cutting weight. At tournaments, it's different. He just doesn't care enough to focus for a whole tournament, lol.

Craig didnt beat Caputo at EIWAs last year, he beat Kerber, who is honestly not that great.

Its possible craig makes the finals, but after his Midlands performance I wouldn't get my hopes too high.. he just doesn't care about tournies that much.

You guys are sleeping on Bosak too, he's already beaten Caputo this year and he'll wrestle Craig next week. Got blown out by Askren and Pucillo pretty bad but took Leblanc to SV and gave Kirk Smith all he could handle at National duals, might have won that match if it wasnt for a horrible call
    Gold is an idiot.

I agree its mental. That being said, David Craig owns a 2-0 record against Louis Caputo in his career. He's 41-9 in the last two seasons and other than Beard, Curran and Wilbanks, doesn't really have a bad loss during that time. He has losses to LeBlanc, Kilgore, Pucillo, Dolly and Patterson. I think you can say he's got a decent shot at beating Caputo.

I didn't say Craig beat Caputo in EIWA's last year, I said he owns a 2-0 record against him in his career. Hey, he's a bench guy who has a pretty good shot at finishing Top 3 in a tough conference. If someone wants him, he's on the trading block. I figured Grips might be interested since he has no one there. I'm not asking him for the world.

FWIW, if you look up Craig's page on d1collegewrestling.net it shows him as a 2007 Qualifier and the 2009 National Champion. LOL. That was a bit of a typo I would imagine.
