I feel like I got shafted in #6 and #10.

Yeah, I'm with Jensen...gonna be a tough draft position for me as well.

Bored and amped up for the league this year so I thought I’d do a little bit of analysis of last years draft. I ranked all returning players in order of overall AA picks, and listed which rounds they picked an AA in. Some interesting notes I came across:

- Of the top 4 by # of AAs, I was the only one to make the playoffs, and the worst 3 pickers in the league by # of AA’s all made the playoffs.

- I had the longest streak of AA picks, with all of my first 7 picks netting podium spots by the end of the year. Mojo had the 2nd longest with 5.

- Mojo had by far the most impressive feat of the draft, 4 of his first 5 picks ended up being national champions. Unfortunately, he must have run out of Mojo, because he only got 1 additional AA in the next 10 rounds of picking.

- I cleaned house with 10 AAs, significantly ahead of the rest of the field.

- Dart drafted 4 former AA’s that failed to place, the most of anyone.

- TLV and Wiltz were the only two NOT to pick an AA with their first two picks.


- TLV rocked the late rounds picks, with AA’s in the, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 13th rounds.

- Of 20 finalists last year, an astounding 5 of them (or 25%) were picked in round 9 or later.

- Rounds 9-15 had 19 AA picks. When combined with the 5 AA’s during the supplimental, more then 30% of all AAs were picked after the first 8 rounds. I haven’t looked extensively, but from my memory I believe that only 3 out of 80 were not drafted by our league at one point or another.

But that ended up being a very solid pick for me, he scored me over 100 points during the regular season, and then I ended up trading him for AA Patacsil.

So he might as well have been an AA
