I would consider dropping the Navy Classic from the scored tourney list as well, as competition is pretty weak there if I remember correctly

The Navy Classic was actually pretty decent last year, if I were to drop any tournaments from the list it would probably wind up being the NC State Open.

I might agree with dropping the NC State open aswell, once more schools post their schedules it'll be easier to see.

Another thing about tournament bonuses, I personally think only CKLV, Scuffle, and Midlands deserve bonuses for 1st and 2nd place.

I understand the 3rd scoring more then 1st problem, but I just dont think any of the other tournies such as the Kaufman are deep enough to warrant a comparable bonus to midlands/CKLV/Scuffle. I mean compare the Midlands field at 174 last year to 174 at the Kaufman brand... KB had 2 top 20 guys, Midlands had like 8.

This year Nebraska isn't going to be at the Kaufmann, which makes me think the finals will be a dual meet between Iowa and Minny.

If you still wanted to prevent the 3rd>1st phenomanan maybe you could institute +6 and +3 bonuses for the finalists of smaller tournaments.

Now that I'm looking around Wyoming isn't going to the Kauffman either. In terms of bonus points there, we'll see as schedules start to become more finalized.

If we utilize bonus points at that tournament you're more than able to draft guys who will be there in order to take advantage of possible bonus points just like everyone else will be.

I brought this up last year, but I really think the way to go is score all tournaments and make a list of unscored tournaments.

I disagree with that, I think more tournaments aren't worth scoring then the ones that are.
