I donate my prize winnings to whomever can use them the most. I was in it for the fun and I got plenty of that picking on LoSt so I think I am even money.

So that I understand this: for the upcoming season, participants are to contribute some amount of money and there will be 'winners' at the end of the season???

Gambling in other words???

Please advise so that I can decide whether or not I'm participating this year.

I don't think that was what was said. My understanding is it will still be free.

Its still going to be free for entrants.

The money for the winners this past season came from our "general fund" as it were here for the site.

Most of the money came from ads that we had up during the Olympics I believe (Schlottke could attest to this better than I could).

Personally I'd be in favor of an entrance fee, but as long as you guys are willing to give a prize from the websites fund it probably makes the most sense to just have it be free for everyone.

We wouldn't want people quitting just because they didnt want to pay, and we wouldn't want something awkward like only a few people putting in money like happened the first year.

PS TLV, fantasy is not gambling! Think of it as an online game of skill
