Re: Scores Through Session 4
Jaggers, Metcalf, Nickerson, and Burroughs are all tied for most points right now with 31. Oddly, Hudson Taylor is only 1 point behind, despite being in the consolations. He also has the possibility of 2 more matches, so he has a very real chance at being the tourney's top scorer. As far as people in the finals, I'm going to guess Nickerson and Burroughs won't put up bonus tomorrow--but who knows. Both Jaggers and Metcalf have the potential to put up bonus points, though.
Re: Scores Through Session 4
Going into the Finals:
Gold: 243
Tigerfan: 233
Zapp: 219
R.Payton 180
Herkey: 163
RD149: 151
Accboy: 139
Tigerfan and I both have 4 in the finals, so that is still up in the air. Tom Ryan and I are really counting on Humphrey and Jaggers to pull through for both my team and Ohio State.
Zapp is done as he has no one in the finals. He does have 3rd place locked up, though. R.Payton has 4th all but locked up (RD149 could theoretically get 30 points in the finals to pass him, but that's probably not going to happen). RD and Herkey will battle it out for 5th, and Accboy is locked in the basement for 7th after a rough weekend.
Re: Scores Through Session 4
This is where seeding means so much -Halsey lost 2 matches by a total of 3 points-3-1 to Varner and 3-2 chriswell then destroyed everyone else he wrestled -9-3,Fall,loss,major, loss then beat simaz 14-4.
Re: Scores Through Session 4
I've got to say I think Halsey was probably very lucky he stuck Hudson Taylor--Taylor probably had one of the best tournaments of anyone this weekend, and is a lock for the highest fantasy scorer in the tourney. He beat Herbst, Cayle Byers, and pinned a very hard-wrestling Cam Simaz. He then majored Askren and all but majored Todd.
Overall, 3 pins, a major, 3 decisions (including 1 very dominant one against a very good Todd).
Re: Scores Through Session 4
Damn. Unfortunate luck. My team still performed pretty well inspite of the lack of Dudziak and the absolute letdown of Tsirtsis and Borschel.

Taylor gets stuck a lot . maybe he tries a throw or thinks he can do some upper body stuff with people that he can't -but most of his losses were by fall-I am not taking anything away from him -he has a great tourney and might well win it all next year -save Brester ,Byers, Varner and Chriswell are going nowhere .Not to mention Jones -who stuck him in the ACC finals .
Re: Scores Through Session 4
Go to the intermat blog and see if you can find what they said -something about Bulldogging him across the mat and sticking him in 40 seconds .-check it out .
