Default Week 9 Standings THRU 1/11

  1. Tigerfan- 852 points
  2. MatEater- 742 points
  3. Zapp Brannigan- 725 points
  4. RD149-2- 702 points
  5. Gold- 686 points
  6. accboy- 633 points
  7. sgallan- 630 points
  8. Herkey # 1- 617 points
  9. r.payton@att.net- 587 points
  10. architethis- 579 points
  11. Champ Kind- 578 points
  12. vaisforlovers- 420 points

Here we go. It looks to me like our top 3 (tigerfan, MatEater, and Zapp Brannigan) are relatively safe and in the playoffs, unless something drastic happens at the conference tournaments. Gold and RD149-2 look pretty safe as it is, but may be more susceptible to being over taken. accboy and sgallan are in a HEATED battle for the final spot in the playoffs. Herkey is well within shouting distance, and with his plethora of Hawkeyes, he will live and die by the Hawkeyes performance at the Big 10's. Similarly, if the Penn State bus is hit by a falling meteor, or the Missouri team is afflicted with the Ebola virus, MatEater and tigerfan (respectively) will fall dramatically. More well-constructed, balanced teams, such as the one constructed by Zapp Brannigan (coughcough) are much more well-positioned. Good luck, fellas.

Rule #8-you are to post your line up every Sunday for you to get points for the wrestlers you select . A certain party has not posted for the last 2 weeks yet you keep giving him his points . WHY.

Umbehauer scored 11 points this week: Major against Bloomsburg, dec against Edinboro, Major against North Dakota state.

Also, I should have 20 points for Metcalf. I see where you are coming from since he had two 4-point techs, but the rules simply say "3 points for a decision, 4 for a major, 5 for a tech, and 6 for a pin." I can understand why you did that, but we should play by the rules as they are written...

1. r.payton, pretty sure I've established that if you don't post a line up, I'm just going to use the last one you posted. Otherwise, I wouldn't have stopped scoring for vaisforlovers long ago, and architeuthis several weeks ago.

2. Gold, I'll look at your scoring issues, but you make a fiar point about the tech. I'll adjust Metcalf, but I'll let you know about Umbehauer.

I missed the Bloomsburg dual, Gold. Scores should be adjusted.

I admit you had me worried after beating me last week, but looking at the line-ups I see you placing higher at only 3 weights, one a toss-up, and 6 for me. I'm more worried about Zapp. I have it 5-5 come tourney time. Should be close. Closer than the regular season was, that is.
