Why the heck would ACC get Hamlin when he already has Tommy Spellman?

In all seriousness, I'm glad ACC was able to shore up his weak spots.

Is accboy having a fire sale?

    Mango #6 = Hamlin # 5
    Rey #1 > Nelson # 9

Mango for Hamlin is a decent trade.....Rey #1 Hwt for Nelson the #3 Hwt in the big ten? Bad trade.

Mango has a few more matches coming up, but Nelson, Rey, and Hamlin are about the same. How does this make accboy more competitive?

Well...In no way DOES this trade benefit him. He has so many glaring holes: Cleveland at 41, Cocozzo at 57, Giffin just lost to alex caruso and someone I've never heard of and he has sigmon(i dont know who that is)

His teams atrocious and he gets rid of one of his best conf options who is the favorite to win a title?

BTW I know you're the commissioner and all, but since Kennesaw had to explain himself to you, perhaps ACC could explain the thought process behind this trade to US as well? I'd love to hear it.

All i hear on the news is about transparent government, so this could be a good time to have a parallel between reality and fantasy.

My original thoughts were this: I'll offer Hamlin and Nelson for Rey and someone else. I happen to hold a high opinion of Hamlin and I think that's with good reason--I think he has showed that he's a top 4 guy who is capable of beating anyone. He's definitely had the best season of anyone at 184 this year. However, I already have another title contender at 184 and as heavyweight is one of my weaker weights. Accboy has a hole at 184--Tommy Spellman just isn't going to do much.

I felt like giving Hamlin and Nelson for Rey and acc's worst wrestler was giving too much; I wanted to get some thing out of it. I figured I'd ask for either of his 125s as the other person. He said he wanted to keep Garnett. So that's how it happened.

For the record, that was the second trade I offered him. The first was Molinaro and Hamlin for Caldwell and either of his 125s. He rejected that trade. So I don't think he's having a fire sale. He's been submitting his lineup, and he was asking me my thoughts on what holes he had in his lineup.

I hope you can appreciate why this is tough for me. I have high opinions of my wrestlers like most of us do. I think I drafted well and used free agency to build great depth in my lineup. I then traded that depth to improve my starters. I look for trades that mesh, and I pursue them--seemingly more often than most of us. Obviously I want these trades to improve my lineup, and think I've been successful doing that. At the same time, I don't want to look like a jackass being the commissioner who is accountable to no one and so rips people off in trades unregulated.

    So, trade rejected.

Acc is free to explain as he pleases if he sees this thread tomorrow, but I'm canceling the trade either way. I'm sorry for making you guys angry or however I've made you feel.

I'll only leave you with this: I'm finding these trades that improve my team. Nothing is stopping you from doing the same.

Maybe we need an outside TRADING CZAR who can indiscriminately approve or disapprove trades...

I don't think anybody was angry at all. I think maybe an explanation would have been helpful from ACC's part.
