All Star Match fantasy impact

I've been following the All Star match invitations as they are unfolding, and I already have 3 participants from my team that have accepted. Asper, Sonny Yohn, and Trice. Great news right? Not so much, Sonny will miss out on the Kauffman Brand Tournement and I'll miss out on all the points he'd have earned there. :(

For the sake of my fantasy team, I hope Zach Sanders & Mike Thorn pass if they are invited, pretty please ;)

Next year, the league may want to consider giving a small bonus for wrestlers in that event.

We do score the matches, for what that's worth.

I think it should go 10-5 for win/loss. Next year that needs to be included.

So, you're saying that scoring the All Star match (against tough competition) is almost as good as Sonny destroying 3 or 4 "Nancys" at the Kauffman Brand?

All-Star = 0 points for getting beaten by Foster vs Sonny getting a couple of majors and a pin or two = 10+ points....

I know, it's a poor consolation. I do like the idea of giving more incentive to these wrestlers in the future (despite the fact that the card is looking pretty poor this year).

I'd like to see a bonus or say 5 points (or 10) for going to the All Star, and then give them regular scoring also. That way loser get 5 and winner gets 5 + points earned.

Maybe more of the #1's and #2's would accept invitations if they knew we were scoring it different in our league.

I hadn't thought about it that way, Herkey, but that's a good point.
