In my fantasy football league, the new guys just start from scratch. It seems to work out good for us and the new guys don't complain about it at all. The new guys next year will just have to pick a whole new team. It's not like we are keeping our whole roster, just one guy.

Hypothetically though, if you had drafted burroughs, if it were in effect for this year, you would be able to keep him this year.

Well, a couple things. First of all, gobigred was the one who drafted Burroughs. However, if you had drafted him and dropped him, you would not be able to keep him anyway for two reasons: 1) you have to keep the wrestler on your roster all year to keep him and 2) only wrestlers drafted in rounds 3 or later are eligible to be kept the following year.

Moreover, no one will be able to keep anyone until next year; No one can keep anyone this year.
