    Default Draft in one day

I talked with Gold and I thought it might be best to have a draft on a single day over a weekend or on a week night. If we allowed 2-4 min per pick we should move fairly quickly. Let me know what you think. I would rather give an hour or two over having to watch the thing all week, and I am sure Gold, VAIS and Rpayton dont want to waste a week either. Let me know what you think.

I know this conversation was in another thread but I wanted responses sooner that later.

I'm all for this -I have 5 guys per weight class for the first round , with 1-2 sleepers hopefully I'll get one of my listed guys -if not , I'll find someone else . Your league has the waivers and you do not have to live with a red shirt or an injury .

I'm for this but I think you need a few more minutes than 2-4. Those are good amounts when drafting for fantasy football when all the information is compiled on the site. However, when you have to look up schedules, results and compare them between different guys it's a good bit harder. Not to mention we will have to keep up with who has been drafted as well since it's not automatically placed on the draft screen.

I'm all for this but it may just need a few tweaks to get it TWT appropriate.

You might want to ask Schottke if he can work some magic and have your pick go straight to ''the BIG BOARD''-thus by passing the necessity of a moderator -as long as everyone picks in order .

I really think the chat function will be more than adequate.

I just think we should expect it to take a little longer than a typical fantasy football draft.

I know the draft draws out terribly but we are doing it so early that it isn't that big of a deal how long it takes, but if we do do it one day I think the best day is Sunday start at like 1 or 2 give each guy like 15 minutes and have everyone have text ability to gold and maybe one other moderator and it would work out

This is a good idea as well. 15 minutes is plenty of time and we won't have to be completely glued to our computers.(enabling us to watch football!) Of course not every pick will take 15 minutes either. Some will go really fast so it won't have to take all day.

The main thing really is having EVERYONE on board. Maybe make that conditional on you being in the league. You have to be there for the draft.

I know just for our TWT fantasy football leauge it was hard to get one date/time nailed down. Everyone keep giving out ideas/suggestions and hopefully we can reach a consensus.

I think we could work out the kinks. We could not have someone be the champ kind of the draft, pushing it back.

Ha, you said it not me.

If we all compromise a bit theres no reason we can't work this out.
