    yes.
    yes.

I think if were going to score these duals against community colleges there should be A LOT more scored tournaments.

Maybe if we had a keeper, we could use that as our LAST draft choice instead of FIRST. That way, maybe a half dozen or so guys would be gone, but newcomers would still get a chance to draft first. That would be a way to reward returning players.

I'm not sure about more tourneys. I know Mizzou and OkSt go to the MO Valley Open, but no one else there is DI. It's sometimes difficult to obtain scoring from those tourneys in a timely manner, and I think it rewards wrestlers with weak schedules. Not sure if I favor this.

No that wouldnt be fair with the keeper. If you want(it's a choice) to keep someone you take that person in lieu of your first round pick. Too much of an advantage. If i were able to draft Darrion Caldwell and then keep Mack Lewnes on waivers that is way too much of an advantage..

Regards to the tournaments, why dont we score every dual, and ANY match that is against another d1 wrestler?

This really gets to the heart of the matter. It is not easy to find the results, and not easy to tell who is D1.

Also, there are some pretty weak tourneys out there. I could have picked up Chris Honeycutt--he redshirted this year. Anyway, he probably won over 50 matches, but only a handful of them were against good competition.

They get most of them, but not all.

i've found if you cant find them on that site, you can find them on the schools site.

That could be a stipulation even: If you can't find the actual result then it doesn't count. Kind of a select at your own risk kind of thing? Maybe if the commish cant find it right away it is up to the manager to find and verify the result to commish?

This is more or less how we've operated all year. That's why I've always told people to check their scores.

I like this idea and if everyone can agree, or some sort of super majority, I think we should add it for our current rosters. For this year we could say whatever place your "keeper" gets at nationals you give up that round's pick in next years draft. For instance, if Tyler Graff were to place third at this years nationals, Gage would have to forfeit his third round pick in next years draft. If the guy you want to keep does not place then you give up your 9th pick. This system would only be for next year and is only if we want to impliment this keeper rule to our current rosters. It's a way of starting this now if we wanted to.

If nobody wants to start the keeper league with our current rosters, but with next years draft, that would be fine too. I suggest it be run this way. If you draft a wrestler in the sixth round and at the end of next year you would like to keep him, the following year you would have to give up your fourth round pick. 5th pick = 3rd round, 4th pick = 2nd round etc...I also think that we shouldnt get to keep wrestlers drafted in the first two rounds. If we limit keepers to only guys drafted outside the first two rounds it will keep alot of the best wrestler on the table for the next season as well making drafting much more fun.

Anyone like either of these ideas?
