I believe you picked up Anderson and Trent Washington.

Your right russ. I did pick up Anderson and Washington. So it wasnt a bunch of UNI guys but I already had Fay on my team which helped. This year with Wyoming being tougher and UNI, not so much I think the Western Regional will be harder to pick who will win at each weight. Last year and in the past you could count on 8 or 9 UNI guys making the finals. I don't think that will be the case this year. I think their string of West Regional championships will come to an end.

It was actually pretty fun, for me. It threw the rest of us a bone and gave us one last chance to squeek in. I am for it, but it wasnt in the rules at the beginning of the season so I am also okay with it not being in. Some people maybe would have saved some of their free agent transactions if they would have knew about this caveat at the start of the season.

I thought how we did it last year was that the highest conference scorer who wasn't already in the playoffs got the at-large, but we can do it however or not at all and I'll be fine.

I'm for it, but I'm one of the people on the cusp with a good chance at benefitting from this. Like Herkey, I think it makes it fun for the guys who are pretty sure they won't finish top 6, but since it wasn't in the rules in the beginning, I understand if people are opposed. If a couple more people voice support, we'll put it to vote.

If we are going to do that, then I think we should just make it whoever wins Conference Week period. If they are already in the top 6 so be it.

Also Gold I sent you a PM with a question regarding the rules. Did you get it?

My Q stemmed from whether having a over-manned or under-manned roster due to a trade, (where the trade was unbalanced as in 1 wrestler for 2 or 2 for 3) meant that a competitor had to use one of his add/drops to bring his roster to 15.

It is not stated in the rules so I just thought I should bring it up. I think that a person who has too many or not enough should be allowed to balance out/fill out his roster withOUT having to use an add/drop. But of course, I would have a biased reason for saying that.

    Just asking...

Yes I remember now, kr. Thanks for reminding me.

You may not have an overmanned staff; you must drop someone before such a trade becomes effective. If a 2-for-1 trade leaves you undermanned and you don't have any "pick-ups" left, you are sort of SOL. I guess you can try to make another 2-for-1 trade wherein you gain the extra wrestler.

    Does this answer your question?

OK-everyone get out a pen and write down week 8 scores -no points were scored week 9-So--
add week 8 and 10 together and that is your point total-going in to week 11 .

Ok, then if that is the case, I feel that those guidelines should be added to the RULES thread so that the is no confusions nor assumptions. Thanks!
