We are updating our video system for competitions by merging it with the technique library system. You can see the preliminary stages of whats going on in there right now.

This system allows all major video hosting websites that allow embedding of videos. This includes Youtube, MetaCafe, DailyMotion, Blip, and many others. We will make a full list of sites that can be used for hosting available soon.

If you run videos on any of these services and want your views to count, don't worry- they do. By using our embedding feature, even though the player looks different you are still receiving hits on your video because it is loaded from the server of your choice.

We have decided not to include FloWrestling as a source at this time. We have verified that legally we could use their videos in the future (because they allow embedding), but at this time we have decided to forgo adding them to the system to avoid any attempted legal recourse on their behalf.

VIP users and Moderators will have the ability to add videos immediately, without being reviewed, while standard members will have their videos for events go through a review process to ensure the video meets the quality expectations of TWT videos.

The current system available through the video clip is being reassembled this week and will be available in it's entirety some time in the middle of the week next week. In the meanwhile, use the site search for any videos you need - they are still (and always will) be available at their old location, it just won't be accessible from the menu in the video section.

An embeddable player will be created for each category, so you can embed Technique series, full events, and other sections of the video system available all in one player on your site.

...and its all free.

The extra step of adding attachments to a thread (uploading a related picture or file) help make the front page more cosmetically appealing.

While not all threads are expected to have these I'd recommend trying it out a few times to see how it works. If you check out the front page of TWT and view (or expand) this topic, you will see how the system works.

I will be moving the "Attach File" portion of the Additional options up by the tagging feature. (another feature we'd like to see be used more. :))

Thanks for your time... Check out the Wrestling Videos update, coming shortly.

Was in one of the threads on the college page when I got an alert to install an update for the Flash Player. The screen kind of faded gray on the sides and the adobe alert was right in the middle of the thread/page. Immediately tried to get me to save an exe to install flash.

Was running Microsoft Security Essentials and it caught it right away, here are the details from their stie:

http://www.microsoft.com/security/po...tid=2147627865

It likely came from something via your ad network but wanted to give the heads up. I canceled the download, went to adobe's site and verified that I was on the latest version and did not need an update.

I had multiple tabs open but I was in the TWT page and that alert only showed on the tab for the forums.

Wrestling Technique Library ala Kolat.com & FloWrestling Wave

We would like to announce the release of the TWT...

We would like to announce the release of the TWT Wrestling Technique Library.

Similar in concept to FloWrestling Wave and Kolat.com, the TWT Wrestling Technique Library categorizes technique by position.

Unlike the others, it's free.

When I was putting this together I wanted to make sure we allowed the community to access this without having to spend cash during a recession - wrestling won't grow if we don't spread it.

Pros of Our Service

Well.. as you're already aware, its free.

Categorized by not only positions, but with tagging and the addition of full length clinics.

A stand alone coaches section for drilling, practice planning, and strategic improvement.

"Watch a Random Video" This may seem pretty basic, but it's not. When you are wrestling, you never know what your opponent will throw at you. Test yourself with our random video system - do you know how to stop it?

... I'll get back to adding more info as I get more videos up... start testing and tell me what you like, dislike...
