Raymond Jordan as a paid assistant would be pretty silly, I hope that's not that case. I don't know much about him, but he just graduated, so hopefully he'd be a grad assistant or volunteer.

Raymond was widely regarded as the best technician on the team. He was president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, winner of some community service award, and an all-around great guy. He'd definitely be a tremendous asset to have around your team. He's got other job offers (non-coaching) so maybe Charles had to pay him to get him on board. Regardless, a great addition to anyone's staff. Btw, between him and his practice partners, they've won 3 national titles and 11 AA honors in the last 4 years. (Pell, BAskren, MAskren, Ellis) |

I don't doubt for a second that he's a great technician, human being, etc. He's obviously a great wrestler as well. It just seems like for one of the 2 main assistant coaching positions, a new coach like Charles would try to get someone more established than someone not even a year out of school.

I like how the staff is starting to look. Shawn Charles, Raymond Jordan, Ben Askren, Brian Stith, and the other person is suppose to be hired this week and it's another great pick-up.

Ben askren and anthony Robles...two very interesting wrestlers united in Arizona. Maybe we'll see Robles start crunching some cradles instead of just tilting everyone.
