d2 and d3 naia njcaa anyone that can be a finalist in there respected divisions should get a shot a ncaa D1 tourney..upsets would be even crazier than now

good move for them I think, they werent competitive at a D1 level and I'd much rather see them bump down to d2 then drop the sport altogether

UC Davis reclassified their entire department recently to Division I, so they would not be able to move back down a division either. They seem to be ramping everything up if anything... Portland State is also a Division I program. Talking about programs where their entire department is Division I moving wrestling to Division II or III is a wasted conversation. These departments have made the overall decision to be Division I, for good or bad, and generally speaking, those decisions have nothing to do with wrestling...
