Adam just called me. His cancer has grown back. While it obviously isn't the magnitude of when they first found it, they are sending him to one of the best cancer institutes in the world to treat it. So he will be moving to NYC next week to be treated at the Sloan-Kettering cancer institute. (Which sucks, since I just moved to Chicago from NYC 2 weeks ago).
Please keep Adam in your thoughts and prayers. If you or anyone you know has ordered a t-shirt and haven't gotten it yet, things are a little backed up and Adam's relocation and cancer treatment is his priority at the moment so please bear with him. We created a new email address just for gear inquiries, so email Adam at gear@adamfrey.us if you have yet to receive your shirt.
Please spread the word on Adam and the gear situation to anyone/any forum that has been following Adam's progress.
Re: Bad news... Adam Frey's cancer has grown back.
Take it from someone who grew up in Rochester, Minnesota, home of the Mayo Clinic: have Adam get it done right the first time. Spend the money and resources needed to get treated at the Mayo Clinic, or as Iowans call it, "Mayo." They are one of the only places where people who are given terminal prognoses' are still living today.
It will be the best decision that his family can make. Trust me.

In NYC, Adam will have tons of support from the Cornell family, because there are a ton of them there. Not so true in Rochester, Minnesota. It makes much more sense for him to be there, and two places on some list? Come on Ban.
