I think most would agree its hard to do both sports. As good as he was at wrestling, I can't always blame these guys for going the more "conventional" route although I think it hurts the sport. Maresh was an AA and potential National Champion in my opinion. Same with Laws. I wonder if when its all said and done that they don't regret it.

This Gopher recruiting thing is getting freaky. I hope everybody got their fill of "Beat the Gophers" over the last year, because it won't be happening over the next few years.

Laws is now making millions on the biggest stage in the world for his sport so I doubt he will regret it.

I think you understand my point though p-jersey. A true athlete at the end of the day can look at his money and I am sure that is somewhat satisfying but at some point for me (maybe not for him) it would be about winning something. Whether it be a National Wrestling Title, A BCS Bowl Game, A Super Bowl. I think there is always a little bit of regret especially when you think of the individual aspect of the sport. I could be wrong but I am sure he sits down from time to time and talks to people in the wrestling world and wonders whether or not he could have won a National Title.
