Pretty impressive. You can't coach heart and can only partially coach conditioning. You need to take that personal responsibility for that and it shows maturity.

Not saying he couldn't step up in the off season and really put together a solid leg defense, but he's gonna need to improve at the same pace he has in Greco, but against a much wider audience than Greco has to offer.
Yeah, I was going to bring that Mason guy up too.

I think Deitchler's accomplishments this weekend were phenomenal, but I still think the best move is to redshirt both him and Mario (who may be the better folkstyler anyway) rather than bumping Dustin, Saf, and/or Glasser and throwing the young boys to the fire in a weight that is still going to be very, very tough.

I see your point, I continue to look at this from a team perspective when the best thing is to put your wrestlers in positions to have individual success in order to have team success and then ultimately recruit off of that success versus putting together the best "team" that you can to compete each year in a dual meet format.

Iowa has proven and even Oklahoma State to an extent that individual success begets team success. The strange thing is that the first year that J. Rob comes out and actually says he is going to let his senior led team to go after individual success, (2008) his team finishes 10th. I know that injuries did play a part in that however.

Strange though.

Is he enrolled at any college and will he continue wrestling? Number one 2008 recruit!

I think he's actually living in Colorado Springs right now, so if he's enrolled it would be in the program there not Northern Michigan.
