Cael Sanderson were gleams in anyone's eyes. In fact, his controversial loss to Minnesota's Verne Gagne in the 1949 NCAA hwt finals -- based on a few seconds' riding time advantage for the Gopher, according to the ref, the criteria he used to make Gagne the champ -- Hutton would have been undefeated in college.

Carlton Haselrig's 6 NCAA titles (three each in two divisions) is an accomplishment that ranks him among the best, IMHO.
From what I've read, of the supersized heavyweight champs, Chris Taylor was surprisingly agile... as agile as a 400 lb + man can be.
