Adam is managing to keep his sense of humor through all of this (see his latest blog posting at www.adamfrey.us ) but this is insane. He might have to move to Indianapolis, as they have a better cancer treatment center there for what he is dealing with, but he would like to stay in Pittsburgh if possible.
I have been in email contact with the NCAA compliance officer from Cornell and the Cornell Athletic department is probably going to be setting up an official trust fund for Adam in the near future so it complies with all NCAA regulations. I will keep you posted as to when it's set up and people can make donations.
Thanks! | I saw the change in diagnosis on the blog. Maybe that's why they had never seen that strain of Hodgkins before. For those who have donated, will those funds be funneled into the new account? Thanks for the updates DH.

Looks like if the collision happened a couple of feet forward he wouldn't have survived.

Most of them are filled with humor and it's great to see his positive attitude. This morning's update is not on the humorous side, but the way he writes from his heart and is brutally honest about his thoughts and feelings is certainly impressive for someone so young going through this experience.
What an amazing young man.

What an amazing young man. | Yesterday was a rough day for Adam. He called me in the afternoon with the news and I just didn't know what to say. Please keep Adam in your thoughts and prayers. He really needs it right now.
I'm speaking with the Cornell athletic department on monday afternoon and hopefully we can make some progress in setting up a trust fund. I'll keep you posted. | | |

Danielle - good luck with your meeting today. Hopefully the trust will get set up soon. I can't wait to order one of his t-shirts!

Cancer drew its toughest bout yet: Adam Frey
And this is the back (the typo in "Philippians" has already been pointed out)
