That's true, initially diagnosed back in 1982 - he is now a 25 years survivor.

Mario Lemiuex was diagnosed back in 1997 and made a return to hockey in 2000.

This one is highly treatable.

Danielle, did you see the thing from Ezra about making sure this is kosher with the NCAA and Cornell's compliance people? (The money giving, not the supportiveness.) I wouldn't put it past the NCAA to be ridiculous in a case like this.

It may not matter since Cornell is not a scholarship school. However, checking w/ the NCAA before accepting donations would be a smart thing for the Frey family to do.

I know I'm probably sounding like a homer, but Pittsburgh has some world-class cancer treatment centers.

I'm confident Adam will receive excellent care.
