My wife has been following this story over the last 60 days as I have updated her on the story. At the beginning she was nice enough about it but didn't really have a connection to Adam so didn't really ask to much about it. As I have continued to update her on the story, she has become more and more involved in the story. Yesterday I told her that Adam had been declared cancer free. She cried. Enough said.
Adam and your family, you are a great story in a time in which people can use good news. You are truly inspirational and you have inspired me to start taking better care of myself. My wife and I both joined a mini-triathalon on August 9th that I am training for. I am going to dedicate my run to Adam and his family and wear my t-shirt during the biking and running phase. Today was my birthday and I got a pair of nice running shoes and some swimming goggles for race day. I am looking forward to the day.
Congratulations Adam and here's to seeing you back in the line-up in the near future if that is still an option and its what you want.
