    Nebraska will be solid.

    I don't either. (Dream big)

Seriously, I think Ohio State will be very tough. Minny, Nebraska, and Iowa State could be tough as well, but they'll need to bring it on at tournament time. Iowa will do well, but we all saw this year what a few key injuries could do to a team like Minny this year. Its a long season.

Don't forget Sponseller, who beat rella twice last year and nemec the year before...

I think Falck, Slaton, Metcalf, Borschel, and Keddy are all AA's next year. The other five who knows...[/quote]

Wow, way to put yourself out there saying the guys who already AA'd last year will do it again, you think Iowa won't add any more AA's? I do.

As for Keddy being a title contender, lets not forget how close he was to beating pucillo...how many seconds left when M pucillo got the takedown? Keddy is right there.

everybody forgets about Nebraska but then again, its their own fault. they have the names and the pedigrees but really fall apart at ncaa's it seems...

I do NOT think Minny is going to get inside the Top 5 this year...they need some seasoning. That doesn't mean some key guys can't make some solid contributions and get them close but it would take an amazing effort by their key guys to get there...

Sanders, Ness, Thorn, D Schlatter, Saf and Glasser would all have to AA and that is asking alot.

Other than Metcalf, all of those guys can be beat or have a rough day at NCAA's next year then have a hard time getting on the podium. Injuries, cutting, conditioning and seeding play a tremendous part so I don't think you can assume anything.

I didn't see Safratowich of Minny not qualifying for NCAA's last year and it happened.

All that being said, I think those guys should be favored to get there not to mention whoever rises to the spot at 141. I say Iowa has 6 and M* actually takes a step back if that's possible.

ISU, Ohio State, Cornell all are right there with Iowa. Iowa should AA at least 6 weights, probably 7, and when I put on the Black and Gold glasses it is more like 9 or 10.

    M* should be better.

Well I'm SORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYY. Those five are the only guys on the team that really, really proved themselves last year.

Tsirtsis has the AA finish to his credit so if he wins the spot maybe you can add him to that list too.

LeClere went two and barbecue at the big show last year, I see no reason why to predict an AA finish for him.

Morningstar is still very one dimensional.

Covington hasn't wrestled a full D1 season yet.

    Beatty didn't qualify last year.

Erikson will be at a new weight class against lots of guys who are bigger than him.

So I don't think I'm stepping too far out on a limb just predicting those five. Hell, they may not even get those five lots of things can happen at the big show, eh?

I'm as much of a Keddy fan as anyone (except for maybe angelfish) - but, Herbert ate his lunch at University team trials. And before we start the "freestyle is different" littany - it was such a dominating performance, you'd have to say Phil has a ways to go before he'll challenge Herbert.
