Default Wes Hand Q&A @ RevGold

Winning Hand
Wes Hand just completed his second season as an assistant coach under Tom Brands at his alma mater, the University of Iowa. RevWrestling.com's Andrew Hipps recently caught up with Hand and asked him about this past national championship season, the situation at 133 and 141 heading into next season, his experience at Virginia Tech, the similarities between Dan Gable and Tom Brands, whether he has aspirations of becoming a collegiate head coach, how he expects Brock Lesnar to fare in MMA, and much more.

Could someone that is a member of Rev please inform us as to what they said about the situation at 133 and 141?

I suppose I could and I probably would if things like gas and food and diapers and daycare didnt cost so much. Things are tight and you gotta pinch a little anywhere you can.

I just wanted to know what was said about 133 and 141. I will guess that it talked about how good Dan Dennis is and that if he doesnt take the 133lb spot he will move up to 141 and complete with LeClere and Tshirt for that spot. Or maybe it talks about our tremendous depth at those two weights.

Paid subscriptions to premium services such as RevGold and Intermat Premium make it possible for these websites to cover the sport we all love. Without these subscriptions, wrestling websites and traditional print magazines would cease to exist.

I apologize if I offended anyone with my question about the article. I didnt read ideamarks profile before I read his initial post. I had absolutely no clue that he worked for revwrestling and was advertising an article. I thought that he had just read the article and was trying to share it with everyone. I was in no way trying to be rude.

Not to follow up with any further rudeness, but both sites are less than $3 a month. It's less expensive to buy both than it is to fill up my truck once.

While that is true if I bought every cheap subscription to every online site of every topic that I was interested in I would soon be left without any money. I will however start reading the free articles on rev and maybe I will decide that I cannot live without it. But with all the free sites and with one of the best wrestling journalists IMO, Andy Hamilton, covering much of the NCAA wrestling scene with an emphasis on the Hawkeyes in a newpaper that I can read online for free I will find it hard to pay for a subscription. I am already canceling my subscription to AWN, that I have had for years, since the information that I want from it is all over the free sites.

This is no disrespect to you Mark. I am not going to make a decision until I give your free site a shot. I am looking forward to reading many of the articles that you refrenced me to. Who knows? Maybe I'll have to have it!
