Wow, looks like one heck of a collection of tough wrestlers in 1981 (looking at all weight classes): http://www.ncaawrestlingtournament.c...CAA%201981.pdf
Off of the top of my head, I can't think of any NCAA's that were stacked like that one.

In the past twenty years there has been four NCAA "true" freshmen champions. Pat Smith,Tevon Ware,Mcllravy and D Schlatter so it is rare. So his legacy will live on. No, Cael did not win as a true freshman before you start ramblin on about it. He was a redshirt freshman

Metcalf vs schlatter was exactly the clash of styles that everyone predicted it would be and in the end Metcalf proved that he was the better wrestler for that tournament. If they meet again will the outcome be the same? Who knows, but Metcalf beat schlatter fair and square. Late takedown or not it was clearly a takedown and clearly well before the time ran out. Do you complain about when hahn beat trenge for his first title by hitting that lateral drop with about 5 seconds left? I doubt it.

If matches were 2 minutes long Bubba Jenkins would probably win every match, but you have to be ready to go for a full 7 especially if you're wrestling a guy with a gas tank the size of brents.
shouldn't you be out panhandling so you can attend next years NCAA tournament Lost Number? I know, maybe you should get a sign and hold it up and stand on the freeway on ramps or off. Something like I'll work for food or something

Sounds like one of Lost's homeboys from the Guillotine may have shown up here.

Well tooldude is certainly living up to his name. tool, it's hard to make enemies here but you seem to be up to the task.

And Lost, if you really want to hitchhike, you don't need a "work for food" sign, you need to watch Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

and finally, as ODH said Reiss won it as a freshman, AA'd as a soph He also DNP as a jr. (2-2) and DNW as a sr.

Haha yeah your dumbass well so well respected on the guillotine. I like the way you defended your panhandling and begging for money it was rich. Now you come on here and blow kisses at all your buddies so you can be liked. I "heart" you sweet cheeks.BTW did you take a poll on the guillotine? Or were you laughed off the guillotine. I have alot more more "buddies" on the guillotine than the traveling hobo that is for sure. Now go buy a bucket and clean windshields at an intersection for loose change or something

As for why I dont post on the guillotine anymore well, its because there are too many people like you over there honestly, although most of them are better at stringing together a coherent sentence.
